Registered Veterinary Nurse

We’re on the lookout for a RVN to join our fabulous nursing team at The Vet Southampton! This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a friendly, well-established team, dedicated to consistently delivering exceptional clinical care and customer service.

We’re looking for a knowledgeable, proactive RVN who is passionate about providing the very best clinical care in our modern, well-equipped surgery. Our ideal candidate will be a team player - keen to get stuck in and support their colleagues. You’ll have excellent communication skills and thrive on the variety in caseload we have at our practice! We’re big on continuous learning and we’re looking for someone who wants to take full advantage of the fabulous professional development opportunities we have to offer.     

Our RVN salary is up to £28,000 (DOE). The required working pattern is flexible with either 4 or 5 days a week, working 8/10 hour shifts with 1:4 weekends.

A little more about us at The Vet Southampton

In our well-staffed team, we currently have 1 Head Vet, 1 Senior Vet, 1 Veterinary Surgeon and 3 due to start. Our nursing team consists of 1 Head Nurse, 1 Deputy Head Nurse, 5 RVNs, 1 VCA and students. Our clinical team are supported by our Customer Experience Manager and team of 6 Customer Experience Co-ordinators.
