Joanne has 29 years’ experience in administration and customer care. She has 4 dogs and 1 cat. In her spare time Joanne enjoys decorating and spending time with her family and pets
Debbie has 13 years front of house experience and is first aid trained. Debbie has 1 Shih Tzu called Tickery Boo and enjoys walking, socialising, and family time.
Helen joined us in June 2020 and is a newly qualified Veterinary Nurse although she’s been in practice for almost 10 years. She has a black Labrador called Logan and a cocker cross cavalier spaniel called Lily.
In her spare time, Helen enjoys walking her dogs, going to concerts and socialising with friends and family.
Beth joined us in August 2020 as a Student Veterinary Nurse. She has previously done work experience in a veterinary practice and has spent 8 months at Barnsley Riding for the Disabled volunteering. Beth has 2 dogs, a cat and 2 tortoises. She enjoys dog walking and socialising with her friends and family.
Bethany is currently studying a level 3 diploma in animal management and has previously worked in a veterinary practice and grooming salon. She has 5 springer spaniels, 2 budgies, 2 rabbits and a hamster. Bethany enjoys taking her dogs to the woods and going on log walks in the countryside.
Wenda’s qualifications are BVM BVS MRCVS, she has worked in a veterinary practice for 20 years, first qualifying as a Veterinary Nurse then going to University to study to be a Vet and graduating in July 2018 from the University of Nottingham. She joined The Pet Vet in May 2020.
Wenda enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the many beautiful places within Yorkshire and makes her own blinds and curtains. She has 1 dog, a terrier cross called Peggy and 3 cats called Clark, Eric and Maverick.
Shane started with us in August 2019. He qualified from the University College Dublin, Ireland in 2014 and has spent his entire career in small animal medicine. He has a German shepherd and cat which live with his family back in Ireland currently. His hobby is Powerlifting he’s been on the Irish team twice and has won medals at the European and World championships.
Gail started with us in October 2018 and loves working with animals. She previously worked for the NHS for 13 years. She loves her holidays, enjoys spending time with her grandson at the weekend and spending time with her Dad. She has an 11 year old Labrador called Millie.
Julie started with us in May 2019. She gained lots of experience working in rescue previously. She has 3 dogs and 3 cats which all came from rescue. She enjoys spending time at her caravan and walking her dogs. She also co-founded Willow Dog Rescue which takes up a lot of her time.
Lucie joined us in April 2018 after searching for her dream job as a customer care assistant working with animals. She previously worked in customer service for 15 years.
She has a Dogue de Bordeaux, two cats and tortoise. She enjoys listening to music , socialising with friends and family and eating out. She also loves walking her dog.
Donna joined The Pet Vet Ltd in April 2018 working alongside the Group Practice Manager and the Head Veterinary Surgeon. She has worked in the Veterinary Industry for 23yrs, working in ECC for 11yrs.
Danielle has always wanted to work with animals, and since January 2018 fulfilled this dream. Danielle lives at home with her partner and two cats – Snowflake and Smokey. In her spare time she loves socialising with friends and family. She also enjoys spending time in her garden and greenhouse growing her own vegetables.
Our expert team is led by our Head Veterinary Surgeon, Niamh. With over 10 years experience in the field she works extremely hard to ensure our veterinary surgeons are providing the best level of care in the profession. Niamh has 2 cats and lives in her Doncaster home with her partner.
