For students:

We love welcoming EMS students into our practices and provide a structured plan to help increase your knowledge and confidence, making sure you get the very best out of your placement. We like our EMS students to be as hands-on as possible as we believe this gives you the best possible learning experience.

For graduates:

We’re registered with the RCVS graduate development programme, and have a dedicated mentor for every graduate that joins The Pet Vet and The Vet.

The programme offers high-quality workplace-based development to ensure that all graduates receive a consistent level of support, tailored to their specific capabilities and requirements. Once you’ve completed the formality of the RCVS graduate development programme, you will continue to receive coaching throughout your second year at The Pet Vet and The Vet. You’ll agree a personal development plan that enables you to master the basics and starts to shape particular clinical interests with the intention of exploring the most appropriate post-graduate qualifications from year 3 onwards.
