Veterinary Surgeon - Strong GP skills

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated, customer-focused Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at our Bristol surgery. You’ll be a key member of our surgery’s team, delivering excellence in clinical care and customer service. You’ll be responsible for delivering preventive services, treating sick and injured pets and be able to demonstrate a real passion for promoting pet wellbeing. 

What we’re looking for

We're looking for a passionate, knowledgeable Veterinary Surgeon with 3+ years experience to become a key member of our surgery’s team, delivering excellence in clinical care and customer service. You’ll be responsible for delivering preventive services, treating sick and injured pets and be able to demonstrate a real passion for promoting pet wellbeing. You'll be an excellent communicator and a real team player, integrating well with our wider clinical and non-clinical team members.

Working Hours & Flexibility
Our full-time Vets typically work a 4-day week, with a consistent day off to support a healthy work-life balance. Each shift is 9 hours long and includes a mix of consulting and surgical duties across the week. To support effective communication and admin, every Vet has a dedicated hour each day for administrative tasks—built right into the working day.

Our weekend rota follows a 1-in-4 pattern.

Our Bristol surgery has 5 vets led by our Head Vet Amelia, they all doing a mixture of full and part time, they are supported by Kayleigh the Head Nurse and a team of 5 other RVS and dedicated Client Experience Team. All our vets work 4 days a week and the shift times vary with 8-5:30, 9:30 to 7pm and 10:30-8pm
