All UK residents will now need an Animal Health Certificate (AHC) to travel with their dog, cat, or ferret to the EU.
AHCs can only be issued by specially trained and authorised Vets Certificates must be issued within 10 days of travel Your pet must have a valid microchip A rabies vaccination is required (administered at least 21 days before travel) Some countries may require additional treatments (eg worming)
