The Pet Vet partners with Blue Cross to support pets in need

New charity partnership between The Pet Vet & Blue Cross

We’re proud to announce a new partnership with national pet charity Blue Cross to provide veterinary care for pets in the adoption process. The collaboration will support animals across Doncaster, Rotherham, Barnsley, and Nottingham, ensuring they receive high-quality veterinary care as they transition to loving homes.

The relationship began when Blue Cross conducted a search of local veterinary service providers. After initial discussions, it became clear of the strong mutual alignment in the vision and values of Blue Cross and The Pet Vet. A partnership was formalised, and it wasn’t long before we were assisting with our first case, treating a pet in urgent need of care under the new arrangement.

Becky Goodall, Head of Operations at The Pet Vet, says: “It’s always special to be approached by an organisation like Blue Cross. A recent survey conducted on behalf of The Pet Vet, and Blue Cross’s fosterers, was overwhelmingly positive, so we’re thrilled to be supporting such a respected charity and to extend our care to animals awaiting their forever homes.”

This partnership not only strengthens the bond between veterinary professionals and animal welfare organisations, but it also reinforces The Pet Vet’s commitment to giving every pet the care and compassion they deserve.
