Celebrating our recent award achievements

It's been an exciting few weeks at The Pet Vet, with our team proudly representing the business at several prestigious award ceremonies and celebrating some fantastic achievements along the way.

Yorkshire Choice Awards

We were delighted to be named as one of the final four businesses in our category at the Yorkshire Choice Awards, selected from an impressive field of 52 businesses. The awards ceremony, hosted at Elland Road, celebrated organisations making a positive impact across Yorkshire.

Representing The Pet Vet on the evening were:

National Family Business of the Year Awards

We were also honoured to attend the National Family Business Awards UK, where The Pet Vet was recognised for its commitment to both colleagues and customers.

We were named runner upfor the Yorkshire People’s Choice Award and were also recognised nationally as one of the People’s Choice Award Champions.

Being recognised alongside so many outstanding family businesses is something we’re incredibly proud of and reflects the dedication of our teams across all of our surgeries.

South Yorkshire Dealmakers Awards

Adding to our celebrations, we were thrilled to win the Deal of the Year award at the South Yorkshire Dealmakers Awards 2026.

This prestigious annual event brings together leading accountants, bankers, solicitors and corporate finance professionals from across the region. The Pet Vet received the award in recognition of our successful £10 million+ refinancing deal with HSBC, which has provided a strong foundation to support our ambitious growth plans.
